Specialist in climate policy, with experience in economics, international negotiations, regulatory affairs and education. He is a full member of the Argentine Academy of Environmental Sciences. He has more than 35 years of experience in project formulation and evaluation, environmental economics and regulation. For the last 25 years he has worked at the national and international level on climate policy and negotiations, including REDD. He has also worked on carbon market regulation for the United Nations, as a member of the Executive Board of the Clean Development Mechanism, and its Accreditation Panel. He has experience in the design and implementation of programs and projects to internalize climate change into national strategies and plans in developing countries. He has been a consultant for UNDP, UNEP, the Executive Secretariat of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, ECLAC, PAHO, IDB, CAF, and CABEI, among others. Since 2011 he has been a researcher on climate policy issues, regulatory frameworks and climate finance at the Torcuato Di Tella Foundation and since 2013 he has directed the Foundation\u2019s Center for Global Climate Change Studies. For 45 years he has been a university lecturer and professor at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in several Argentine universities. Consultant specialising in energy-related issues and researcher focusing on energy, climate change and knowledge management at the Fundaci\u00f3n Torcuato Di Tella. He was Undersecretary of Energy Planning at the Ministry of Finance of Argentina. He was in charge of updating the National Energy and Climate Change Plan. Between 2016 and 2018 he was National Director of Energy Information at the Ministry of Energy and Mining. In 2018 he was co-responsible for the development on issues related to energy data transparency and market digitalization<\/span> in the framework of the G20 Energy Transitions Working Group, and in 2019, he was head of the Argentinean delegation to the same working group. Previously, he served as advisor to the Vice President of the Energy and Mining Commission of the Honorable Senate of the Nation and provided technical assistance to agencies such as the IDB, the World Bank, UNDP and UNEP. Agricultural Engineer. He is an expert in Greenhouse Gases (GHG) in the agricultural sector, and works in the environmental management of dairy farms and feedlots in components of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), nutrient assessment and management indicators. Since 2014 he is senior technician and project leader in the Environment area (R&D – CREA). He is a private consultant in agribusiness, and in short projects of Low Carbon Livestock for FAO. He participates in livestock and environment in the Livestock Commission of the RedBPA, in the Argentine Roundtable on Sustainable Meat (MACS, in Spanish) and in the Global Roundtable Sustainable Beef (GRSB). He participated in the AFOLU component of the Argentine GHG inventories (2010, 2012), the First and Second Biannual Greenhouse Gas Emissions Update Report (BUR), and is the author of the Guide of Good Practices in Manure Management in Dairy Farms. She has been selected to participate in the Virtual Lab on Sustainable Finance and Impact Investment organized by AECID and UNED Micaela has 18 years of experience in economic and financial analysis and regulatory and consulting activities in most Latin American countries, focusing on energy, infrastructure, and climate change projects. Her professional training in economics, later completed with postgraduate studies, allowed her, together with an intensive professional practice, to have a solid knowledge of the subject. Since 2005 she has been involved in research and consultancy work at the Torcuato Di Tella Foundation and Institute on Economics of Climate Change, including carbon pricing projects, green and carbon finance platforms, training for decision makers and promotion of a regional environmental agenda. Since 2003 she has been a university lecturer and professor at undergraduate and graduate levels in several Argentinean universities. Specialized in risk management with focus on the agricultural and forestry sector, he has worked as an expert in international companies such as Agricultural Risk Management, Partner Re and Swiss Re for Latin America. He has also worked as a Director in the insurance companies Seguradora Brasileira Rural and Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, both based in Brazil. Since 2017, he has been the Treasurer of the Latin American Association for the Development of Agricultural Insurance (ALASA, in Spanish). She has participated in numerous projects requested from the public sector and multilateral organizations, including programs of the United Nations (UNDP, UNEP, ECLAC), IDB, World Bank, CAF, CABEI, IDRC, UNFCCC and governments of Argentina and other Latin American countries. She has also been a researcher at the ECLAC-UN Office in Buenos Aires and the Centro de Investigaciones para la Transformaci\u00f3n (CENIT, in Spanish). Since 2009 she has been a researcher at the Torcuato Di Tella Foundation on climate change economics, climate finance and carbon markets. From 2006 to 2010 she worked at the National Secretariat of Environment and Sustainable Development, in the Directorate of Climate Change. Since 2010 she has been involved in research and consultancy work at the Torcuato Di Tella Foundation and Institute, in the areas of knowledge management, legal and institutional framework and public policies, related to environmental issues. Also since 2010, she has worked as an environmental legal advisor at the Argentine Association of Agricultural Experimentation (AACREA, in Spanish), in the environmental area. Since 2004 she has worked as a consultant on sustainability and climate change issues for public and private sector projects and civil society organizations. She worked at Deloitte, leading verifications of sustainability reports and developing sustainability strategies for major companies. She coordinated the Climate Finance Readiness project of the National Directorate of Climate Change of the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development, funded by the Green Climate Fund (GCF).
